  1. Wow, Jyesss! That is SO great! Um... . .I'm assuming that you had thirty pounds to spare. If not, you need to eat more! Dear gawd.... . .jiggling -- you have not felt THEEEEE most horrific, gut-wrenching, earth-shattering jiggling until you have done some heavy-duty jogging in neck-deep water. Whilst doing this some days back, I let my hand fall to...

JYESSS! . . .. .....but . . . . ....and , too. . . .. . . . . ... Perhaps you need to look at unloading...

Did your wires and plugs and cables become entangled a t all? Wow......spider bite. Yick. . . . .......this is one thing to put on the Official List of reasons...
  7. How terrific, Patteigh... . .a visit with your son! And how great for HIM that his mom is on board to take care of him. Will he climb into your and Mark's bed to convalesce? I remember SO clearly as a kid, when I had the phloo, how it always felt somehow better when I went and snuggled in my parents' big bed, and coughed and sweat and threw up from in there...
  8. Dis is phunneee . .. . ...... . . .posted by a friend on Da Book. . . . . ......
  9. Thanks for the response, Smoly. I went off gluten four years ago, and I always knew before that time that heavy starches caused my blood sugar to rise, often quickly with their high GI number - - so I've always limited my consumption of grains, corn, rice, potato, etc. But in hindsight, I think the glutinous sources in that list caused the biggest disruption...
  10. I've been a type one diabetic for most of my life, and for many years have kept tight blood sugar control with syringe delivery of my insulin. For this reason I've never really explored the idea of changing to an insulin pump. The other reason is my lack of enthusiasm for the idea of a box, even if it is small, always being attached to me, with all the involved...
  11. Speech! Speech! Well, it may suddenly begin........ Jyaghnutt! What in hell's goin' on? You poor girls, with your lingering mystery illnesses.. . . .. Wish I could be of some help. Perhaps water-skiiing might help yer cough?

  13. Gnick! Whot in hell are rock cakes? They are irresistable?? They do not sound as such. . . ..... Any cakes that I have made that ended up being referred to as "rock cakes" were judged a dismal failure, and promptly made landfill. . . .. . . . . .. This is absolutely infuriating. Starvation due to undiagnosed intolerance of a food...
  14. In many ways, yes. I have managed with the syringe delivery of insulin for all of my diabetic life, and have been able to keep tight control for many years. However, perhaps due to approaching perimenopause, added life stressors, or just getting older with the illness, I'm finding it suddenly not so easy to keep my blood sugars tight. I've never had to...
  15. Ra-schellle has offered a terrific suggestion for handling this. .... . . .....quietly hinting to any possible thieving miscreants who are skulking about that the wires and straps are the only visible evidence of the explosives you have strapped around your abdomen. Methinks the staff of New Zealand House will be astonished at, one: how quiet and well-behaved...
  16. Wow...... . ....who IS that man??.... . .. . .. ..... ..think MY heart's goin' loopity loop.. .. . . . . .. ..... . . . .. All kidding aside, Emily seconds Kherrighn's motion to keep everyone and their hubs heart-healthy. Jack is currently obsessed with the latest huge news release from NASA, verifying the claim that the enormous earthquake...
  17. Um.. . . . . . must one refrain from showering whilst wearing this model, as well?. . . . . ...... . . .... . .. . ........ Gads... . . the smell of Polo and Axe would probably be quite tolerable. . .. . . . . . . .
  18. Em is thinking about Tel's heart. . . ....... . . ...how long until the MRI, Nik? In Emily's province, the wait times are significantly down - - a couple of weeks for a non-emergency. Hope it is the same in the UK - - Em hopes it is SOON! Like, tomorrow. Who needs to be waiting? Um.. . ...dunno if'n Emily can keep up this Third-Person-Talk until the...
  19. Nikes for ten bucks?? Holy crap.... . . . .. I think those headquarters need to open up on one day a year, NOT for the likes of Justin and Shawn and Bode (now those guys really need a break on the price of superior athletic footwear ), but for poor sops like us who try to take good physical care of ourselves but struggle every time we must make regular...
  20. Yes, I'm crying, too.. . . .....I remember hearing all about this, but never saw the video. Lisa, 'twas a fantastic project that you took on!
  21. Hell. . . . . .... ....that should be one tough workout for the unfortunately padded-and helmeted-to-the-eyeballs goalie. . .... YES, absolutely! I prefer running outside (unless it is -20, then I remain firmly planted on the treadmill - - canna imagine why those blokes are out there, the ones I see in the frigid bowels of winter,...

  23. Good Post-Olympic, Withdrawl-Setting-In morning, Psills. . . . .. . . ...... Whatever are we to do now that it is all over? Will I have to go back to TALKING with my family members over dinner, and into the evening? Gah.. . . . ... Meant to put a caption under that pic I posted last night of the Canadian Olympic goalie - - I've decided that...

We're in trouble, as it is a work night and alcohol is flying everywhere. . . . . . .....I think my kids are even drinking.. . . . .. . ...... Such a close, intense, fantastic game for ANY hockey...
  25. Yes... . ..and at one time, it apparently was somebody with crutches.. . . .. .... . .. Yup.. . . . . .....I'm actually responding from my ipod.....we're in Vancouver, heading to the arena in our hired stretch limo.. . . .... . .. Gaaaaaaaaads......in my DREAMS.. . . ...
