  1. I have always been very sensitive to sented candles. I am the same way at the yankee candle store. I also can't stand to walk down the isle of cleaning products in the grocery store. After using carpet fresh I would get head aches. Now I work in a smaller than factory [shop] where I am exposed to paint fumes, glue fumes, carbon monoxide fumes, and fiberglass...
  2. I have noticed how I would get overly sensitive . I would cry watching commercials. I have spent days at work and at home trying not to cry constantly. I have definatly noticed how much happier I seem to be since I have been gluten free. Also, I have always been an introvert. I have been divorced for 15 years and haven't so much as dated for 12 years. Just...
  3. sorry my spelling is bad. isn't penicillin made from mold off of bread. I have always been allergic to it. Also the refridgerator at work is so bad that I started bringing my lunch in a lunch bag with ice packs and keep it at my station. The smell from the fridge could knock you over. it never gets cleaned and usually its full of sandwiches and things that...
  4. I will make a list of hidden gluten ingredients and keep it with me. Making my own cakes sounds great. I have noticed how expensive gluten-free foods can be when they are made for you. I like eating nuts but in moderation. They put weight on me so fast. I am not sure I want to be tested. 1] I don't ever want to be sick again. 2] I plan on staying gluten-free...
  5. Yes I have. I didn't realize it was another symptom I was having. When I was off work for Christmas break and new years I was home alone and didn't seem to care how loud I was swearing because no one was there. I was so angry and shouldn't have been. I was so loud the neighbors called the law and they came rushing to help me. They were sure someone was with...
  6. I never really knew what was wrong with me, but I always knew I didn't like a lot of foods. Some I didn't like because I had strange reactions to them. I have not been diagnosed but the change in my diet is amazing. I just changed my vitamins and wow, its like they work. My aches and pains have improved. my energy level is back to normal. Im trying very hard...

  8. I also heard that beans from a can should be avoided for at least the first six months. I learned that the hard way. I wonder if the tomatoes were canned and could have made a big difference. wendie
  9. I tried the ragu with brown rice linguini and had no issues. I wouldn't touch spaghetti for years before I knew I was gi. I always thought it was the acidity that made me feel like id been run over by a truck for the next three days. it wasn't the sauce, at least not for me.
  10. have you ever tried buckwheat honey. I think its awesome and I don't swell from it like I do other honeys. theres also a hot cereal made from buckwheat and milled with flaxseed but it is not a wheat and is gluten free
