  1. Yeah, you probably would. For anyone wanting pure silk powder, you can get it from The Conservatorie. $6 for a whole oz (that's a really good deal). Open Original Shared Link
  2. eh, they also said they would release a new pressed powder shade every week, and that never happened. I think they're just busy gearing up for some huge changes over there, and I think we're going to like them when they are finally revealed. p.s. I really like my pressed powder. I carry it around in my purse for touch ups. It's heavy foundation...
  3. Now I have a question.... Has anybody ever determined what kind of vegetable oil they use in the everywear stuff?
  4. ooooh ooooh I know the answer! Silk Dust = pure silk plus black currant powder (the black currant powder is a new addition that causes slight grainy-ness, which in turn caused some unhappy customers, which is why they considered discontinuing it, I think. Unless Carina was just trying to trick everybody into admitting that they still actually loved...
  5. I like the silk dust too. If my skin was nice I would probably order some tinted silk dust and just wear that instead of foundation. It gives a really smooth and pretty finish.
  6. It's true. Donna has spreadsheets to prove it!
  7. I actually think your allergist gave you good advice. Food diaries and elimination diets can actually be more useful and more accurate than "intolerance" testing. (They are less expensive too )
  8. Those were the days....70 pages ago...when we were all capable of ordering only $3.97 worth of make-up from EM..... LOL
  9. That is strange I cancelled an order once after it was already packed, and they didn't have a problem with it. They ended up charging my credit card and everything, but it wasn't a problem to get reimbursed.
  10. How about mango margarita ? (I'm already puree, might as well add ice and tequila! ) Bevv! Come join our cult..er...I mean...our totally relevant and ungabby thread that strictly deals with" gluten-free foods, products, shopping and medications!" p.s. I'm trying to find a pic of what I look like without the make-up, but really scary things...
  11. I just looked at your posts and you have lots of responses to all of them. I think I'm going to make this bread soon. It looks tasty!
  12. Janet ratted me out! You think I'm the spy? Why, I'm much too busy for such things (I do have a cult to lead, you know). We have our very own intelligence agency over in Make-Up Nation...they keep us informed. Oh, btw, Richard wanted me to let you all know he reached 35 by noon yesterday. If this keeps up we might just have to release...
  13. You can mix tuna with a bit of olive oil (and add a splash of vinegar as well - I like tuna w/ Balsamic, actually) Then I add chopped up celery, carrots, red onion and maybe a bit of well-chopped broccoli. Salt and pepper. Yum! Avocado is a great addition to that too, or it can be used instead of the oil.
  14. Yay, more Prague info! I guess I'll just have to take lots of trips to other cities (the need to stock up on my gluten-free food is a great excuse! )
  15. You would have so much fun making your own nail polish shades! Did you guys have any idea how many mineral make-up companies there are??? It seems like there are hundreds of them all of a sudden! Maybe I should start one! LOL So today I am wearing my gluten-free multi-tasking intensive foundation wet again. I love this!!!!!!!! It covers...
  16. Why, that was never my intention! I think the gab forum is a place for intellectuals (who happen to count their farts). I knew I wasn't the only one. It's a good thing Jodi mentioned gluten. It might just buy us a little more time up here (as we snootily look down...
  17. Joni...BM ... LOL I always want to refer to Bare Minerals as BM on here, but then I think "gosh, I don't hate it that much." LOL That's a great website though, and those butterfly eyes are awesome. I want to try that too. You should take a pic of your eyes if you do it tomorrow Yay I hope you get your package soon! That's great...
  18. Thanks, Tom. I'm glad cider is popular over there. It'll make things much easier (I thought I was going to have to just pretend to drink beer, which is never too much fun )
  19. That's what I think about other websites too. None of them are quite as great as EM's. Putting on the foundation wet makes it really smooth, and the coverage is a bit heavier I think (but in a good way). It's also less messy that way, and it hides pores really nicely.
  20. Okay well since we're confessing, I think I'm going to order some lip gloss and concealer from Lumiere Minerals, and you all know about my adventures with Maybelline LOL Oh - and I went to get some Ecco Bella from the health food store last night. They were all sold out! Everyone must have read my Maybelline posts! LOL j/k
  21. Parma. Best stuff ever. www.eatintheraw.com
  22. omg her skin looks so good! (Oh no, more stuff to consider buying! LOL)
  23. Awesome! Thanks! Hi Susie! Yeah I'm heading over there to go freeze in the rain and drink some cider (while hopefully fooling others into thinking I'm actually drinking Guiness ) Speaking of makeup, have you abandoned the cult? You need to come back and tell us about Pure Luxe LOL. (Hmmm...this has nothing to do with drinking in...
  24. That's great to hear. Thanks for letting us know....and good question about our sad little labeling system.
