    ok. I would like to know everyones point of view on my stance. I had the blood test for celiac done on 11/15/2005. Here were the levels, IGA 1 (should be 0-4) igg 74 (should be 0-9)ttg iga 0, ttg igg 2 (should be 0-5), endomysial antibody iga 68l (should be 70-400).     Could everyone name a few "known" candies that are gluten-free. Im new and i love sweets, i thought maybe there were a few candies and chocolate that may be gluten-free?? Thanks.

    Hmmm. Now im thinking. I was just officially diagnosed and my doctor (specialist) told me i can touch things with gluten but as long as i dont eat it, it will not get into my intestines, makes sense..... Anyone think otherwise?? Now im confused.....

    Thats awfull, i would call walgreens and ask for the manager and complain also. Thats what he gets paid for, sorry you had such a bad experience Im new to all of this so i havent been in that position yet.

    I like asking others with celiac what they ate for ideas. Today was my very first day! I think i did good. Its going to be hard but i can do it. This is what i ate....     Well... for me, im 22 now, since i gave birth to my daughter 7/13/2004, i have had off and on stomach pain. I waited about 8 months before seeing a doctor because i lost all my baby weight and thought my body is just trying to get back to normal.     What are 5 foods you still eat that you didnt realize are gluten free. Even though i dont start my diet till next week heres a few of my upcoming favorites, Utz Cheese puffs Rice crispies Hershey kisses (what candies have gluten???) White cheddar popcorn- right?? apples n peanut butter

    Woah. Thanks to all the replies, now i know how supportive you all are. I know you all will help me with this challenge of my life.Im all new to it and sometimes wonder if ill have those days where i will just cry because i want a slice of pizza...     thats odd... My doctor made an appointment to go over the results then sat down and explained what all the numbers meant. You should really get a copy, by law they have to give it to you. Good luck.
