  1. wish someone was here ....am utterly miserable, it's too late to call any of my peeps and whine....need someone in another time zone to call (like Hawaii, I think they're 5 hours behind us)....am in pain, doubled over, bomb in stomach....is this from my binge? body aches and I feel like utter, abject crap. am so agitated.....massive headache.....cannot...

Andrea, yes, we can be certain that there will be NO MORE gluten experiments. the crazy thing is, the day after my first binge, got teh lab slip for followup bloodwork for GI - - - OOPS........... now must wait a month or two longer than scheduled to restore damage. I dont' know what the score is for Bulldogs. Better check.
  3. yup......I think it's remarkable that you all eat SO much beef - I always thought it was recommended to eat it no more than 2 or 3 times a month? which is how often I eat it, pretty much, but it evidently is agreeing with all of you, so I am going to eat more! (am thawing lamb chops as we speak)
  4. OMG Rinne - you have just described my entire life, and this is so well-put, makes so much sense. The fight or flight mechanism always kicked into high gear.....I know I don't have Lyme (no typical physical symptoms), but could it have been gluten-intolerance causing this anxiety and inner unrest (family dysfunction aside) my whole life, since childhood...
  5. well Carla, was wondering where you'd been! guess what, my gluten binge from Monday/Tues (I didn't tell you guys about Tuesday) has caught up with me.....ugh. terrible D, very weird, extremely NOXIOUS - sorry. Constipated most of the week, flatulent (this is gross) and...finally it's been coming out. Ouch - - big tummy ache - - the old familiar...

  9. ARE THEY COMPLETE IDIOTS??? grrrrrrrrrrr......this is insane. of COURSE the levels go down with strict removal of gluten...DUH! My TGA was GREATER THAN 100 at time of diagnosis (and they stop measuring at 100). AT the four-month mark is was down to 17. I"ll have another checkup in a couple of months....and BTW my periods were almost non-events before...

  23. picturing that oh my gawd - my brother adn I had a braces incident - we were in the pool (with the lawn furniture, we got busted for that) and I pushed off the side, really hard, underwater - rammed my mouth into his knee - my top braces slid down and were halfway off - - - to this day they think I was doing it to hurt my brother, who had a nice cut...
