  1. Today is my first day at the gluten free diet, however there are so many things that are hidden that I need to figure out first.
  2. Just wondering how long it takes for your body to heal after going Gluten Free?? Also, I never get sick and eat gluten all the time and I am not sure how I am going to know that my body is healing, without any sypmtoms I cant tell. Sure I feel good, more energetic then before but thats all.
  3. I have seen this on the unsafe lists and then they had some astricks beside it saying something that it maynot contain gluten but I just Googled it and found an articale from " Gluten Free Living" and it said that it was safe for Celiacs to consume. I am just wondering if this is correct??
  4. I got my resutls today and turns out I have Severe Celiac Disease and my body is showing signs of early Osteoporosis. Not that I have this but I need to change my diet or I could have it. He said my Villa were flattened, I dont eat hardly and Gluten so I am shocked by this. He also wants me to go off Dairy for awhile and let my body heal. I have never...
  5. Sorry I live in Squamish, BC and I have found a Whole foods about an hour away in VAncouver, we live in s small town...well, its getting bigger since Whistler got the 2010 olympics. But I have checked Walmart and found a few things. I have the Kraft BBQ sauce already, but I have to do somemore research. I have not purchased much or tried any baking b/c...
  6. I am just curious what product you for butter or margarine...we use imperial and it seems to have gluten so I need to switch. Also wheat tyrpes of salad dressing, BBQ sauces and ketcup brands you use. I a new to this and finding it hard to find out what to eat.\ Also, I usually have eggs for breakfast...every morning and that cant be too healthy..any...
  7. I posted here earlier this week mentioning that my biopsy was scheduled for Monday...well I have had it and of course dont remember at thing!!! Well, I have not gotten my results back as of yet and I am still eating small amounts of Gluten. I have never really gone completely Gluten free b/c I am very rarely sick, I get outbreaks (as I call them) once sometimes...

My son is 11 months old and about a month ago I introduced Wheat for the first time and he started to get really bad rashes on his bum, it looks like two different types of rashes...one looks like ezcema...
  9. I had both my kids before really knowing that I had Celiac and I found that being pregnant made al lmy symptoms go away. I did end up with small babies, my daughter was 4 days late and was 6.5lbs and my son was born premature at 36 wks weighing 4.4lbs but I had Preeclampsia with him, not sure that it is related. but my doctor said that I am ASymptomatic...
  10. I Have been reading some posts here and it is all sounding too familiar. I will tell you a bit about myself first. My names is Jessica and I am 30 years old, I have two beautiful children a girl who is 3 1/2 and a boy who is 11 months. I got tendionitis years ago and have had three surgerys to try and repair it...and funny how my wrist has been bugging me...
