I was just DX with Celiac in August, but knew I might have it a year in Jan 06 but was pregnant so my Doc told me to stay on my gluten diet and I did with no problems. I did not get sick to often maybe a couple times a year I would have a bad "episode" and it would last for a week or two and be gone and BC I didnt know I was Celiac I went back to eating...

My daughter is 3 1/2 and potty trained for about a year but she still wears a pull up to bed and the last couple of months she has been peeing in her pants ,all the time. She and her 12 month old brother have had bloodtests a week and a half ago so we are waitng for the resuls. She is the one that I a more concerned about. -

The doctors told me that I needed to be off Dairy for 3 months until I healed a bit. I have found it harder to be off of Dairy then gluten itself. But I have recently had a spoonful here and there of ice cream and never had a problem so I dont think that I will have to be dairy free for longer then the 3 months. Thanks for your responses. I have tried Nystatin and 3 other prescriptions and none of them worked, the rash is not typical diaper rash, it is definately ecxema but nothing clears it up. He had a diaper rash right now and I am using hyrodcortizone and another cream and that rash is getting better but not the other one. I am definately going to have... -

I use Dairy Land Lactose Free milk. Doesnt seem to bother me. But I am only off Dairy temp. for three months and the I can have it back. I have not been sick yet, but I dont drink it. I just use it in baking and cooking. I am super picky with milk and if I cant drink my 1% then I wont drink any at all. -

I use Fleischmann's also and have not had any problems with it, I am only gluten and Dairt free though, but I am able to have dairy in a few months. I find this brand to be pretty good though. Sorry I was not too much help. -
I talked to my Specialists receptionist today, she asked him about the dairy and he said 3 months. I have been drinking the Dairyland Lactose Free Milk and Icant tell the difference between that and my 1% milk..I had cereal today and it was great. Actually I have noticed that my scalp itches, I thought maybe it was dry skin, I am almost done these bottles and I have bought Dove as I read it was gluten free. I do think that I tend to not worry all the time about things, but they could be harmful to me and I dont even know it...just like makeup...I dont know what to use so I dont wear any, I need to... -
I saw my regular GP today and he said that I could reintroduce very small amount of Dairy with 4 weeks of going off it, I mean like a small amount in my tea,scrambled eggs and mashed potatos. I still use my same shampoo and conditioner that I always used...as long as you are careful not getting any into your mouth. My specialist wasnt to concerned about those as it is not ingested. I live with gluten eaters and I just make sure that I clean the space where I am going to prepare foods before I do. I wouldnt worry so much about the grocery carts... -

I talked to someone who has Celiac and has had it for a long time and she wears the same makeup she always did and doesnt ever have a problem, she said as long as it is not ingested...which Mascara and eye liner wouldnt be. So do you all still wear regular makeup?? B/C I cannot find makeup anywhere and I need it!!! -

Two of my favorite meals are Shepards Pie and Chicken soup, both require a broth mix to make them for taste. In Shepards Pie I always used OxO cubes, but now I need a product that will give it a beefy flavour and the Chicken Soup needs something for flavour also. Have not found anythig as of yet that is gluten-free...can anyone suggest something. Thanks...
