  1. I am definitely no expert in this area but can just give you my experience. My 3 year old son has alternating D with sticky constipation. We are waiting the biopsy but the bloodwork came back positive. He was diagnosed with toddler's D and irritable bowel and now we await the "diagnosis" of celiac or not, I think either way we are going to try the diet...
  2. I just had a question. Does it have to be genetic? Do my husband and I need to be tested? Or are there cases where just a child can have it? We are still new to this. What specifically do we tell our Dr. to test for? I know the IgA and IgG right? Is there anything else?
  3. I have been reading lots of posts and am unsure of a few things. How strict do you need to be with a newly diagnosed 3 1/2 year old in terms of cross contamination. Do you really need to buy a new toaster and get rid of cutting boards? I also have been reading about sun screen and play doh. Does all of that really impact you that severely? I'm sorry...

Just that his levels should be below 7 and they were above 20. So which one does that sound like? IgA or IgG? I have lots of questions, like should my husband and I be tested? ...
  5. Wow, I feel a lot overwhelmed. Let me give you our background. I have a 3 1/2 year old son who started at age 2 with diarhea. It lasted for several months. After all the tests came back negative, they called it "toddler diarhea." The doctor mentioned Celiac's disease but didn't think that it matched my son's body type. He was 10.6 ounces at birth and...
