barilla replied to thundersweet's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
I have one copy MTHFR and I also have Factor V Leiden, which is a blood clotting disorder. I only found this all out because I have had 3 miscarriages in a row. As soon as I get pregnant again I will have to go on Lovenox, baby asprin, and Extra folic acid, B6 and B12. I take the B vitamins now because my homocysteine levels were high, but a recent blood... -

ARCHIVED Can Someone Help Me With These Results?
barilla posted a topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
hi there, I got my 3 year old daughter tested for celiac because I have celiac disease and it runs in my family. Doctor says her TTA came back normal but an IGG was a little elevated. The IGG was 106. He said because she has no symptoms she doesn't need to have any other test and that she is fine. But if she has any symptoms to call him. He wants... -

barilla replied to Ellenor Whitty's topic in Related Issues & Disorders

So, it looks like maybe if I get my gut to heal the little "buggers" possibly will move out of their home. I'm kicking them out!! I'll give them a 2 week notice! lol I think for now I'll just stick to my probiotics, glutamine and aloe vera juice with hopes of healing the gut. IF I do have parasites, and my gut starts healing, hopefully they will just...

drjmarkusic-- I am glad that your oxalate levels are normal since you've been gluten free! I hope you are feeling well. Ursa Major-- I'm sorry the cleanse made you sick. I hope you are doing well now. How did it make you ill? Which cleanse did you use? I'm still deciding if I should do it. There are parasite cleanses that are natural...

I was wondering if anyone has tried a parasite cleanse. I asked my doctors office to mail me my test results when I found out I had celiac disease. As I study the blood work results, I noticed that my Eosinophil count was VERY high. So I Googled what that would mean and it says: "What abnormal results mean: Increased eosinophils (eosinophilia...

ARCHIVED Diagnosis
barilla replied to barilla's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I've asked my doctor the last two times I saw him if he could check my levels and he won't. He says he doesn't check them again. I think I need a new doctor! -
Is it possible to get diagnosed without a positive biopsy? Back in May 06 I was tested for celiac disease. My levels were really high. So I went gluten free because the nurse on the phone said to eliminate gluten from my diet. I felt a lot better,, then my GI has me get a biopsy done knowing I've been gluten free. He asked if I could go back to eating...

Hi,, I was wondering if anyone else had a primary doctor like mine... He won't check my Igg and Iga levels agian to see if they went down. I've been gluten-free since May 1st 06 and I am curious to see if the levels went down. He says he doesn't test them again. Then the last two visits I've been to I've asked him to check my vitamin/minerals just in...

The Outback is the only restaurant I go to. I also always get the Alice's Spring Chicken with mashed potato'. So yummy! I have never had any problem there and I am very sensitive. They always write Gluten Free in big letters on the order slip. I am so sorry you had a bad experience.

ARCHIVED Types Of Vitamins
barilla replied to barilla's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
The last time I did yoga was prenatal yoga 8 months ago. Wow,, time goes fast. I'll probably start up again soon. I only had class once a week. Maybe I'll try and get into a class that offers 2 or 3 times a week. I sit hunched over about 90% of the day. The other 10% is only when I think about how I am sitting and sit up straight until I forget about... -
ARCHIVED Types Of Vitamins

Which kind of vitamins do you take? And do you take any other supplements? I have been taking a Centrum for long time, but I feel like I should be taking something more advanced. I definitely feel like I am lacking minerals and vitamins. I have had really bad posture for so many years. I've done yoga... but I still sit all hunched over. What am... -
