  1. I find that my friends and I eat out at Mexican restaurants more than anything. I always bring my own bag of chips (since they make their own chips in fryers that are contaminated) and just use my own bowl of salsa. I am not allergic to corn, so Mexican food is my salvation.   2. I was sitting at work today watching my co-workers chow down on yummy pumpkin muffins for breakfast, and pizza for lunch (free from supervisors)... and I had to excuse myself to go cry. Some days, I just don't know how to handle things. I think... "why me?" Even though I realize I am not alone, and I certainly don't want to end up on my death bed by 4...
  3. Good luck with all of this. Just keep in mind that it takes a good 3 months for gluten to leave your body, so you'll still feel 'weird' for a while. I've been gluten-free for 8 months now, and it's been the hardest thing I've ever had to maintain.
  4. Holy crap... this is something I never even thought about. I'm going to have to go home and check out my lotion now. I use L'Occitaine w/shea butter... I hope this is gluten-free.

    Thats true, I guess. I'm just trying to deal with everything. That peice of paperwork might just kick my butt into gear. I live in an area that there are no 'special' markets, no gluten free menus (except Outback), no one has ever heard of it (including my family doctor)... It's very difficult. Thank goodness I enjoy to cook.
