    HHOOOOORRRAAHHHH on the wee babe!!! My friend's mom wanted to be called grandma Polly, but the wee one couldn't pronounce that so the woman became, and remains, Gran Pocky. To everyone.     Me want screwdriver :angry: I have class at the conference til 8 tonight. Have not been outside since 7am. Skipped the last half of the last session to take a break and check email and charge my computer (for the class). Bah.

    G'mornin all conference starts today, so no more fun, although my boss called yesterday to find out when my poster was. When I told him Friday, he muttered something about not having to show up til then.... It's only 4:30 in the morning, a little early for swimming, but I'm gonna take my coffee down by the pool for a while.

    I been caught! Packing to switch hotels. Decided to say hi before closin' the 'puter. My neighbors daughter works at IHOP here. I went in and asked to sit in her section. She walks up, looks completely mystified and says "....are....you....my......mother's.......neighbor.....?" I started laughing and she yelled OMG!! It was fun. We hugged...

    I'm in Waikiki til Saturday, but the conference starts tomorrow and today I have to change hotels. On Saturday I fly to Hilo for a few days, then drive to Kona. Don't come home til the 29th. heading out soon for a sunrise swim.

    That was fun :D My SIL called to chat wall I was on camera. Not sure if she hung out for the jumping jack wave. As I walked away a passing woman smiled and said I looked like I was having fun. I explained about the camera and she starting laughing and said 'I just thought you were nuts'. Yay on the imminent baby!! Gotta head off...

    I guess I'm saying that I don't believe that stopping the reaction in my gut is going to stop whatever gluten does to the rest of my body. I know the theory is that if your gut reacts properly, then gluten can't get into the rest of your body but I'm not really ready to believe that yet. I'll wait until the drug has been on the market for several years...

    You guys is funny! I'll go back tomorrow morning, and my phone will be charged so I'll know the time. My plan is to be there at 6 am, and since I'll really know the time I WILL jump up and down and look like an ijit. Just stopped back in for a second breakfast and a shower. Headin' out to walk the streets for a while. Amazing how de-motivating this...

    I don't think I would ever take it. I've become so much more aware of my body and its subtle reactions to everything, that I wouldn't want to take something that would mask a reaction.

    Hey!! I can get a muumuu here for like, $18!!! Got up at 3:30 this morning, got on the 5:20 boat, took the limo to the airport and sat around for a loooooong time. Got to my hotel about 2:30 Hawaiian time and made myself go walk along the beach. Achieved my goal of going to see the pink hotel. And I am completely wiped. Gonna try to do some homework...

    Maybe you could also spend a little more time educating the teacher. Give her a list of snacks that are probably safe, then show her what to look for in the ingredients.
