  1. Yeah, who is gonna do the dishes I can do them in stages, 5 minutes at a time. My instructions tell me I can drive as soon as I'm off the narcotics, which I am. Might be a different story if I had a stick (all that lifting of the feet!) but an automatic's easy.
  2. Well, just got back from a fun venture to the urgent care clinic. Roomie sliced the crap outta his finger while doing dishes. 7 stitches. He's very proud
  3. Nitazoxanide also inhibits some viruses and bacteria. One of it's methods is thought to be through inhibition of Pyruvate Oxidoreductases Open Original Shared Link The after effects could be from some inhibition of the intestinal cells through a related pathway. Cells stop dividing, form stronger cell-cell interactions, no more gluten into the blood...
  4. One more, from my local group. This is her entire post. I combined two recipes I found online and came up with these muffins for breakfast today. I always wonder how "off" my palate is, now that I've been eating Gluten-free Casein-free baked goods for a while, but I think these really did taste good. If anyone tries this recipe out, will you please let...
  5. How bad could it be? Patti and I had to do the first part, and poor, sweet Bevvie the second. I think he'll jump at the chance to be more connected with his female friends through shared experiences.
  6. Also found Open Original Shared Link with this note at the bottom: Anonymous said... Hi there, and thanks for this great recipe! Skipped the eggs, as I'm vegan, and it worked fine - I had a little more baking soda/powder and banana instead (I'd usually use boiled linseed liquid, pretty much like egg white once the seeds are sieved out)....
  7. This might work if you substituted coconut oil for the butter, a bit of flax for the egg yolks, and whipped gelatin for the egg whites. Creamy Chocolate Flourless Cakes 3 ounces unsweetened Baker
  8. Could be way too much soy for you.
  9. Yah!! I say we pin him down and take out his uterus before inserting a PICC line - preferably through his groin, with a couple false starts.
  10. Oh Bev, I'm so sorry, it just sounds heinous.
  11. I'm pretty sure I found them at a drugstore, near the ear ring display. Should be easy. The ones I found came in a little package and weren't very expensive.
  12. I had a sister in law with a severe nickel allergy and these worked for her.
  13. RR has revamped their menu and now none of the appetizers are gluten-free. Disappointing, but be aware when you go.
  14. Since you have to take a vacation day, I think it's reasonable to ask if they have a day, even if the schedule isn't finalized. Just tell the HR person that you have to take a vacation day and want to give as much notice as possible. Try to come across as someone who's concerned about her current employer/coworkers. It'll make you look like a better candidate...
  15. You can buy little plastic sleeves for your earings
  16. My mom was pretty skinny when all her young'ns were tiny. Something about continuously saving them from mortal peril and scary vacuums.
  17. How 'bout just sending another 300 emails
  18. And Susie.... ***SLAP!!*** No more sadness OR anger. Start moving that toadface into the "Thank heavens I dodged THAT bullet" part of your brain
  19. Yes, but if everyday is paradise, how will you remember to appreciate it? It's the eight feet of snow (or in Seattle's case 100 straight days of rain) that makes you appreciate the stray ray of sunshine. Sunshine smile --------->
  20. Not me. I figured she was locked in a locker somewhere...
  21. Folding might be good for your blood pressure...
  22. Nay! More of a gorbellied unchin-snouted barnacle!
  23. Susie, use the Shakespeare quotes - so much more descriptive.
