  1. My little guy will be 1 next week and I've found that since going gluten-free he does sleep a bit longer - pretty similar to Carrigan. Ike is ready for bed around 6pm, give or take 15 minutes and sometimes even closer to 5:30pm. He sleeps through the night and is up in the morning anywhere between 5am and 6:30am. When he's home with me (he's in daycare...
  2. my son is nowhere near nine, but off the top of my head would she go for tater tots? cascadian farm makes organic ones that are really good. what about tuna or chicken or egg salad? (or is that icky to a 9-year-old?) in addition to rice pasta products, we've been using a corn-quinoa one too (can't remember brand off the top of my head, but local price...

The full panel is pretty expensive though - has anyone been able to get their insurance to cover it? Maybe if I get my son's doc to 'prescribe' it?
  6. Thanks for all your replies - I feel much better about the diet. For whatever reason, some people - friends even! - don't seem to believe there's a problem unless you have an "official" diagnosis...I mean, how much more "official" does gross yellow squirts vs. nice brown turds get? (sorry to be gross, but it's true!) And it seems like I'm seeing more...
  7. Hi all - I'm new here and wasn't sure where to post this...here's my question: My son will be one year old on July 12th. Since he started eating solid foods (from about 5 mos.), he's had chronic diarrhea. The thing is, this is his only 'symptom'. He eats like a horse, has been steadily gaining weight and is not in any kind of abdominal distress. His...
