  1. I don't want anyone else to get burnt by EAS. For years now they have claimed their product is gluten-free, even though it is not, it contains oats. Is there any way to stop a company like this from making false claims?
  2. I switched detergents recently (I had been using Tide), and I don't have a problem with DH, but I did get a spot on my leg recently... I assume it was something I ate... detergent wouldn't cause DH, would it?
  3. I went to the grocery store (Hy-Vee) and all they had were the old barley boxes. Are any members on this forum from Kansas City, if so can you tell me a location that has the new boxes? Thanks in advance.
  4. Chipotle Burrito Bowls, Wendy's and McDonalds Gluten Free List on their website, Hy-Vee and Price Chopper (have a printable list and it's HUGE on their websites of all their gluten free foods) these should get you started, and cover way more than the basics.
  5. Hy-Vee Brand was on their gluten-free list. (they have a downloadable list on their website) Hy-Vee is a grocery store in the midwest.
  6. Nope, haven't seen them, quick question, are they cheaper?
  7. For clarity, is this gluten free or not? The website does not specify on the Strawberry Chex. Thanks in advance.
  8. Open Original Shared Link I stumbled across this website and to my surprise they make gluten-free meal replacements and protein powders. The nice thing is you pick the ingredients so for example if your allergic to soy, you can tell them to leave it out. (this my understanding) I'm getting ready to order some to try it out. It would have been nice...
  9. wow, celiacs do check these! How's it going Jess?
  10. Just checking to see if there are any 20 to 30 something celiacs in Kansas City... but not sure if most celiacs check these boards often... there is not a lot of us. Jeremiah

    ARCHIVED What If?

I think it played a large role for me before I realized I had celiac disease. Your brain needs particular nutrients and when it does not get them (by not being able to absorb them) all kinds of conditions result. Put simply when I ate gluten, I understood why people went crazy... but gluten-free I'm fine.
