Gluten-Free Goodie Girl Cookies: Midnight Brownie

It is no coincidence that Goodie Girl's slogan is "Just the Right Amount of Wrong." The first thing I noticed when I put a Midnight Brownie gluten-free cookie in my mouth was a rush of intense chocolaty flavor, which was followed by a rich buttery taste.

Gluten-Free Goodie Girl Cookies: Midnight BrownieThese cookies really are "Midnight" in color, and may be the blackest cookie I've ever seen (similar in color to the cookie part of an Oreo). I'll attribute their color to the rich ingredients used in making them, and their baking process. The chocolate chips in the cookies actually look light in color when compared to the rest of the cookie...if you can believe that!

I loved the rich taste of these cookies, and the fact that they did not taste overly sweet (for me this is an issue with too many cookies). The Midnight Brownie cookies did indeed have a distinct brownie flavor and "mouth feel," so using “Brownie” as part of the cookie's name makes perfect sense.

I look forward to trying more types of Goodie Girl Cookies, as I noticed by browsing their Web site that they make several different varieties: www.GoodieGirl.com.

I have been taking probiotic supplements for a long time, but nothing has worked as well for me as Shaklee Optiflora Two-Product System with Prebiotic & Probiotic. Every since I started Shaklee's gluten-free prebiotics and probiotics I feel so much different--I feel like I have more energy.
This is a high quality system that is designed to provide needed support for our digestive tracts.  According to Shaklee the Optiflora Probiotic Complex uses a "patented triple layer encapsulation technology to protect live probiotics and guarantee their delivery into the intestine,"  which can enhance energy levels and provide excellent support for our bodies.<...

Celiac.com 03/22/2013 - It can be difficult for those trying to meet the requirements of multiple dietary restrictions. It becomes especially difficult for celiacs following a Kosher diet during Passover, as matzo traditionally contains gluten. Fortunately, Yehuda's gluten-free matzo not only fits the bill, but it tastes great!
I might not be the most qualified person to evaluate the... well, let's say technical accuracy of this gluten-free version of matzo crackers. These are labeled Kosher for Passover and they're imported from Israel, but I am still not even entirely clear on the diet limitations of Kosher/Kosher for Passover, nor have I ever...

Savory Foods has really hit a home run with their frozen Gluten-Free Licious Gourmet Herb Pizza Crust.
Many pre-made gluten-free pizza crusts tend to lack flavor, and more importantly, they lack the correct texture and "mouth feel." Savory Foods’ pizza crust offers everything you want in an outstanding pizza crust—great texture with just the right chewiness, a perfect blend of spices and seasonings, and most importantly, you can cook it just the way you want—if you like it crispy, just cook it a little longer, if you like it more chewy, just cook it for less time.
In my case I followed directions and let it thaw for 30 minutes, then cooked it at...

Guthrie's Original Sin In A Tin Chocolate Pate Dessert is a wonderfully decadent treat that is perfect after any meal—it will make any occasion feel like a special one—including birthdays, holidays or any other day that you would like to make more memorable.
The taste of this wonderfully chocolaty confection reminded me of my favorite flour-less chocolate cake, but it was even better because it was more creamy and less dense. This is the type of dessert you would typically associate with a fine dining establishment, after paying too much for a meal, but now you can have it at home—and just in time for Valentine's Day!
