Would Anyone Be Interested In A Support Group

Regionally or course, would anyone in the region be willing to travel to the Outer Banks of NC for a weekend at the beach for a support group/think tank gathering?

It would be a non-holiday weekend. The house has one double bed, four single beds, and room for a day bed, and more space for sleeping bags. 3 bathrooms with and additional outside shower. ( It is more of a home than a cottage) Across the street from the beach and has private accesss to the beach.

This would be a "share weekend" recipies, coping, relationship issues and totally gluten-free cooking which we would take turns preparing a meal.. A $25.00 per person would be for the utilities that we use, per person the rent would be free......and the beach walk would be.......priceless.

This needs to come forth in the nearest of times as the winter months are comming and closing of the house will be close. Any one interested please respond ASAP............sometime before Thanksgiving. would be ok.

Please contact me through my person e-mail as listed on the board site.

This could be really a cool thing. I think that I know many of you now., but meeting you would be a good thing. (hope no whako-among us???)

Yes it could happen. No takers yet. But may be small would be good. As I don't own the house, I would have to check on the date. But it still a go..........

PM if you have interest. Think it should be an adult issue though.

Say good night Dick......sweet dreams to all.

Interesting, when I suffered for a few months with ectopics I noticed that carbohydrates would cause indigestion and bloating in my stomach, then that would lead to my heart skipping beats, and I could feel it in my throat, it was very unsettling.  My last serious bout of this was after eating a Muller Rice Pudding for breakfast.   I happened to be wearing a 48 hour halter at the time and cardiology picked it up, but they weren't worried about what they saw. There was some British doctor who'd made some videos on the Vagus nerve that I remember watching at the time which made sense of what I was experiencing, there did seem to be some sort of connection.

I asked my cardiologist about stopping vitamins.  He said his tests account for all detectable vitamins from sources other than food.  I only need to stop them for a couple of days.  He has me keep records of meds and vitamins I've ingested over the past 10 days and prior and he does his calculations.

Reply to treats I try and eat to bring up the glucose. Sometime I get up 3 times a night and eat something. I don't think food is the issue. A lot of the food they say should help doesn't.  Many mornings my level is 59 and I feel sick, sometimes for hours. It has been recommended I go to an Endocrinologist.
