I'm going to make some corn bread later on this afternoon (actually I was going to make it this morning but didn't have any baking powder) and before I buy baking powder, is all of it gluten-free or do I have to stick to certain brands??

Thanks, Susan

I use Bob's Red Mill baking powder... I don't know about other brands... I just stick to one that is labeled gluten-free.

All baking powders are basically corn starch and bicarbinate of soda (that's the rising part) There shouldn't be much else added to it. My non-big name baking powder also has sodium aluminum sulfate and acid phosphate of calcium. All naturally gluten-free.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
