Hello I don't know exactly if my issues are directly in result to gluten sensitivity. My mother has found out about 5 years ago she is extremely sensitive to gluten. In other terms she bloats up to what looks like she's 9 months pregnant and she has diarrhea after consuming products with gluten.

So with that out of the way, I suffer from anxiety, depression, extreme hunger right after eating meals like I would eat lunch then be hungry an hour later, feeling tired after eating my meals (which for work I would eat mainly sandwiches). I'm forwarning you this is gross, my bowels before were explosive in the mornings and not liquid or solid form. After being away from gluten my bowels have been normal S shapes and not at all liquidated. I don't get hungry as often and I feel full after eating a meal. I have cheated twice now during the last three weeks and have not experienced a lot that would jump out as being "gluten sensitive!"

I fear that I'm just a hypochondriac who thinks they have a problem in their body.

Sounds like there is definitely a correlation between gluten and your symptoms.  Perhaps consider keeping a food/symptom journal, and if you haven't been tested for celiac, it may be a good idea.  FWIW, those you listed were some of my symptoms.

Maybe get tested for Celiac?  But you need to be on a regular gluten contai ing diet to test.

Get tested for sure! After for so many years having doctors treat me like everything was just in my head- it's such a relief to have an official diagnose. If I hadn't gotten tested- and went gluten free anyways, I would always wonder if it was just in my head and I'd be a lot more likely to cheat.

You'd have to be eating gluten again though?

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
