I posted a couple of questions and a picture the other day. It's had many views but no responses. Anyone? Thank you.

I posted a couple links in your other thread that may help.

It does look like how mine presents. It also has a stinging itch- severe itch and takes about 2 weeks for it to finally heal. Sometimes turns purple in color and leaves a colored mark but eventually fades away. Mine also come back in the same place and on the adjacent side of the knee.  I have been gluten free for about 3 years so it does not come up anymore. Sorry for the late response.

Thank you. I used to get a breakout on my hand and it would blister and turn purple before going away. When I was a teen the doctor tried to tell me it was a type of herpes, but married for over 35 years and having 5 children and 10 grandchildren no one else has ever got it. If it was herpes, it would be contagious. I didn't know about DH or Celiac back then. It hasn't broken out since I've been gluten free. But I don't know what this one thing on my back is. It sure itches. I did take regular communion at church last Sunday because I forgot to get the gluten free one at the back and didn't want to not take it. That's the only thing I can think of. It's such a small area that's broke out, though.

The only thing that looks like that and itches is DH in my mind. You can still have breakouts even if your gluten free, I have read several others on the show forum saying that. I’m not sure anyone really knows why. You could have ingested gluten and iodine somehow. Remember I’m no expert, but that does resemble how mine comes up.

From their website I see "organic barley leaf powder" as an ingredient. Keep in mind that the gluten is in the kernel, and not in the leaves. https://drinkag1.com/about-ag1/ingredients/ctr

Before the rise of social media we were well known by a lot of doctors and were recommended by many, especially our Safe & Forbidden Lists, but as doctors get younger and younger this is probably not happening as much as before.

Thanks Scott I will definitely check my vitamins and minerals to see what I am missing so then I can supplement. I was very concern about my Meniers syntoms and i tryed to find some alive. Now im just realizing that my celiac is provably the root cause of my Meniers none of the 12 doctors I saw told me anything about this.  This web site is so helpful, thanks to people like you we can get answers.

Vitamin D deficiency can contribute to rib pain. Chest pain stemming from the ribs ccould be costochondritis, which involves inflammation of the cartilage connecting the ribs to the breastbone. This pain can range from mild to severe, potentially mimicking heart attack symptoms, and is often worsened by breathing or movement. Other potential causes include muscle strain, rib fractures, or even referred pain from other conditions.  It will also help to chose vegetables low in omega 6.
