Anyone know if this flavor is gluten-free---it is not on their list of gluten-free; and the "chat" person ended up saying "not sure".  Seriously not helpful

No.  If the green “gluten free” label is not on the side of the carton, it is not guaranteed to be under 20ppm.  Breyers makes a whole line of gluten free ice cream in a dedicated facility (no line sharing).  Choose another flavor or get plain chocolate, add some marshmallows and almonds.

I love mint chip!

Thank you--  I am recently diagnosed and still improving.  After eating this  flavor I thought was on their list of gluten free--I had a distinctly worse next day.  Never thought I could throw away ice cream so quickly.

Read the product label over the website.  Breyer’s list a gluten free chocolate chip, but in my area, the chocolate chip does not have the gluten-free label.  I did find it on the East Coast this past summer.   So, it depends on where the Breyer’s ice cream is being manufactured.  We just buy Breyer’s that has the green gluten-free label on the side of the product.

Unfortunately, Breyer’s has started to include gums in their products.  They used to be famous for being pure ice cream.    I think only the Natural Vanilla is gum free.  It contains just vanilla, cream, milk and sugar.  You might have reacted to the extra junk they put in ice cream.  It is a processed food, so plenty of opportunity to have an intolerance  to it outside of a gluten reaction.  I would have issue with almonds.  No almonds for me!

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
