Gluten-Free Sausage Balls

I love sausage balls. If you are not familiar, the recipe is bisquick, sausage and cheese. I recently tried replacing regular bisquick with the gluten free version but they came out gritty. Anyone have any suggestions or have had success making these any other way? Thanks

I know that Authentic Foods makes an outstanding line of GF flours (they've been a sponsor here for many years):

https://www.glutenfree-supermarket.com/

Some of their flours are "super fine," so they might work better.

Find the Bisquick site on your computer (Use Google) They have a super good sausage ball recipe in their gluten free section. We love it. Not as easy as the old 3 ingredient one, but much better.

Awesome! Thank you

I recently ordered biscuit mixes from Daddy O's (On FB).  They are the best!!!!  No grit at all. So soft and delicious! I highly recommend  them.

Go to the Bisquick gluten-free thing on the internet. They have a great sausage ball recipe that my gluten eating friends ask me to make. It is super. If you can't find it, let me know and I will send it to you.

The gluten-free Bisquick site has a sausage ball recipe that is wonderful. My glute-eating family, including grandchildren and in-laws, prefer them to the gluteney ones. What is NOT good is the gluten-free Bisquick biscuit. Go figure.

They may want to also eliminate other possible causes for your symptoms/issues and are doing additional tests.  Here is info about blood tests for celiac disease--if positive an endoscopy where biopsies of your intestinal villi are taken to confirm is the typical follow up.

In the Europe the new protocol for making a celiac disease diagnosis in children is if their tTg-IgA (tissue transglutaminase IgA) levels are 10 times or above the positive level for celiac disease--and you are above that level. According to the latest research, if the blood test results are at certain high levels that range between 5-10 times the reference range for a positive celiac disease diagnosis, it may not be necessary to confirm the results using an endoscopy/biopsy: Blood Test Alone Can Diagnose Celiac Disease in Most Children and Adults TGA-IgA at or Above Five Times Normal Limit in Kids Indicates Celiac Disease in Nearly All Cases No More Biopsies to Diagnose Celiac Disease in Children! May I ask why you've had so many past tTg-IgA tests done, and many of them seem to have been done 3 times during short time intervals?

@JettaGirl, "Coeliac" is the British spelling of "celiac". Same disease.

This may sound ridiculous but is this supposed to say Celiacs? I looked up Coeliacs because you never know, there’s a lot of diseases related to a disease that they come up with similar names for. It’s probably meant to say Celiacs but I just wanted to confirm.

I was told it was to see how much damage has been caused. But just told CT with contrast not any other name for it.
