Strictly Gluten Free for 6 years with an elevated TTG

Hi there!  My daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease 6 years ago.  We have followed a strict diet with her, eat out only at a few places we feel confident with.  Big kids left for college a few years ago and our house has become fully gluten-free.  She is 15 but not a risk taker/anxious about what she eats.  Her TTG was HIGH upon diagnosis, and it has gradually come down but the lowest she got was 45.  Today she is 51.  She is growing and some occasional symptoms (she says maybe once every few months stomach pains and nausea).  Anyone else have this experience?  I'm hoping they rescope her just to see if she is healed?  Thoughts?

Does your daughter eat in restaurants? Studies have shown that even ones with gluten-free menus often serve contaminated food.

Also, there is some research that shows that cow's milk may also increase tTG levels in those who are sensitive:

      Thiamine interacts with all the other B vitamins.  Thiamine and B 6 make a very important enzyme together. With more thiamine and other vitamins available from the supplements your body is absorbing the ones you need more of.  The body can control which vitamins to absorb or not.  You're absorbing more and it's being transported through the blood.   It's common to have both a Thiamine and a Pyridoxine deficiency.  Keep taking the B Complex. This is why it's best to stop taking supplements for six to eight weeks before testing vitamin levels.

      Yes I took a supplement that had B6 in it, low dosage though. I've stopped taking that. B1 doesn't affect other B vitamin levels?
