Great news everyone!!!! I just heard about a new gluten free restaurant called Blue Fish Grill that has a gluten free menu. They are just opening up one in Willow Grove, PA near me and I am very excited about it so I figured I would share the news with all of you :D They are mostly located up and down the east coast with the majority of them in Florida. You can check out their website at www.bluefishgrill.com and see where the closest one is to you. I will let you know how it is when I go. I don't think they are opening here until July/August. Very excited about it though. The news definitely made my day and hopefully some of you will have one near you too!!!!:D:)

I think you mean the Bonefish Grill. www.bonefishgrill.com

They're affiliated with Outback.

I checked out the menu of the Bonefish Grill and ascertained that they do have a flame grill. Looks very promising! Also if you have a Ned Devines Irish restaurant, they are the ultimate gluten friendly! They make their own potatoes and mash them with milk and butter and their steaks and meats are not pre-marinated and they bend over backwards to please.

Welcome to the forum, @yellowstone! The most common ones seem to be dairy (casein), oats, eggs, soy and corn. "Formed" meat products (because of the "meat glue" used to hold their shape) is a problem for some. But it can be almost anything on an individual basis as your sensitivity to rice proves, since rice is uncommonly a "cross reactor" for celiacs. Some celiacs seem to not do well with any cereal grains.

What foods can trigger a response in people with gluten sensitivity? I've read that there are foods that, although they don't contain gluten, can cause problems for people with gluten sensitivity because they contain proteins similar to gluten that trigger a response in the body. I've seen that other cereals are included: corn, rice... also chicken, casein. I would like to know what other foods can cause this reaction, and if you have more information on the subject, I would like to know about it. Right now, I react very badly to rice and corn. Thank you.
