Hi. Three musketeers are one of my favorite candy bar. i was wondering if they contained gluten? Here are the ingredients:

The 3 MUSKETEERS® Bar ingredients: milk chocolate (sugar, chocolate, cocoa butter, lactose, skim milk, milk fat, chocolate processed w/ alkali, soy lecithin, artificial and natural flavors), sugar, corn syrup, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, less than 2% - cocoa powder processed with alkali, salt, egg whites, soy protein, artificial flavor. Allergy information: Manufactured in a facility that uses peanuts.

They look safe...but are they really? Thanks for all the help!

Hi Amber:

I have it on my list as not being gluten free, but my list is over 2 years old. I don't have why, just that it's not safe

I just checked again, three musketeers are safe, milky ways are not!

3 Musketeers are safe

Milky Way which is similar is NOT safe. However their Milky Way Dark's are safe. Hope that's not too confusing :)

K, thank you! I can now eat the one that my mom bought for me knowing that it is gluten-free!

Clan Thompson has 3 Musketeers as gluten-free - and I eat them all the time.

Clan Thompson agrees with you about the Milky Way (only the "Midnight" is gluten-free).

I just saw 3 Musketeers Hot Cocoa with Mini Marshmallows flavor today....!!! I called the company and the representative told me that they are also gluten free!! Enjoy!

Please remember that this thread is 6 years old. Do not use info on a product that is that old. Re-verify the gluten free status.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
