Hello. Does anyone know which brands of the gummy type fruit snacks are gluten-free? Thanks!

I can't give you a brand but if it's one made by Kraft, General Mills or Betty Crocker (I think they all make these snacks) all you have to do is read the ingredients. They will not hide gluten in other ingredients. It will very clearly say wheat, barley, or perhaps malt. That said, it's my recollection that most of these type snacks are gluten-free.

The Shrek ones are gluten-free, the Disney (I think by Kellogg and this is the only thing by Kellogg that is gluten-free) are gluten-free. Betty Crocker are as well, but I don't remember which "characters" they use. Kim.

Most gummy snacks are gluten-free. Check ingredients though because I know a few contain modified food starch-especially the store brands. Also, watch out for the rippers or anything licorice-like uses wheat starch to prevent sticking. Fruit rolls are almost all gluten-free. Good luck.

      Welcome to the forum, @yellowstone! The most common ones seem to be dairy (casein), oats, eggs, soy and corn. "Formed" meat products (because of the "meat glue" used to hold their shape) is a problem for some. But it can be almost anything on an individual basis as your sensitivity to rice proves, since rice is uncommonly a "cross reactor" for celiacs. Some celiacs seem to not do well with any cereal grains.

      What foods can trigger a response in people with gluten sensitivity? I've read that there are foods that, although they don't contain gluten, can cause problems for people with gluten sensitivity because they contain proteins similar to gluten that trigger a response in the body. I've seen that other cereals are included: corn, rice... also chicken, casein. I would like to know what other foods can cause this reaction, and if you have more information on the subject, I would like to know about it. Right now, I react very badly to rice and corn. Thank you.

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.
