I know you all said gummy vites, which I found but his Dr. wants a vitamin with iron since he is a little anemic. I bought Curious George made by Health Science Labs. They say they are not made with Gluten but are proccesed on equiptment that may contain traces of it. I called the company and didn have much luck comunicating with the guy. He was going to pass the note on but I never got a return call. Any ideas?

Also, has anyone checked out moon sand? It looks really neat ( kind of a playdoh ish but its sand, wont dry etc. ) I also called that company and they were supposed to call me back but I never heard from then either. There are no ingredients listed on the package... Ugh I havent had much luck calling companies... Thanx for any help you all can give..

Can't your doctor give you a perscription for a vitamin with iron? I was actually questioning this myself. I noticed through alot of posts here that a lot of the kids are on an over the counter vitamin. My kids have always been given perscriptions as well as all the other young kids that have been in my life. Could it be because where I live they do not put flouride in the water? My kids vitamins have flouride in it.

What vitamin was prescribed? I actually called her today to write a script. I figure any money I can save the better! I think she was looking into what one is safe.. Thanx for your help.

Hi, they are on Poly Viamin with flouride. I actually am going to call again tomorrow to double check they are safe. I haven't checked in a while. They were one of the safe ones listed by American celiac association.

SueC Explorer

check GNC's website. They will tell you if any product they sell is gluten-free.

I actually dont take vitamins orally, just get vitamin shots, cause those are the only that don't make me sick cause of the corn and i get iron infusions at the hospital

Oh my gosh! I saw the Moon Sand commercial today too! Disney Channel I think?

I looked it up, and the company's website still says "Coming Soon". There is a space on their website for FAQs, but it's also "coming soon". Here's the site - Open Original Shared Link

I hope it's gluten-free. It looks SO neat.

Thank you. I must have misinterpreted a study or something. Thank you for the clarification. Much appreciated. Almost three years into my celiac diagnosis and I'm still learning new things.

I wasn’t clear, glucagon and gadolinium were intravenous. I drank about 5 cups of the prep during 45 minutes. I feel very tired now, probably partly because I was nervous, and partly because I had to fast for 6 hours beforehand and wasn’t very hungry when I got home.

That seems at lot of solution to have put threw you when you already have bowel issues , I will phone them tomorrow because it's sorbitol I have reactions too, thankyou for the input how do you feel now ? I'm not sure I can keep still for that long with my back issues either unfortunately I didn't know it could take that long 😕

The solution I had to drink contained sorbitol and mannitol. I was in the MRI, lying on my back, for about 40 minutes. I was given glucagon partway through, and a gadolinium contrast agent. After I got home there was some diarrhea from the prep solution.
