Hi all,

My husband, myself, and our 2 children are taking a trip to Honolulu Hawaii soon to visit family, and i am having a VERY hard time gathering information of places to buy gluten free products, or restaurants that we can eat at.

Does anyone know of some places?

Wow have fun! I love Honolulu, make sure to check out surfing at waikiki (it was a blast!) I can't remember specific resteraunt names that I went to while I was there but one good thing is that they have a very wide selection of fruits to eat everywhere! I know there are tourism websites for the island that list resteraunts (addresses, phone numbers) so you could always call ahead, maybe even ask some 1 at the hotel you're staying at! Theres such a wide range of resteraunts so i'm sure you'll be able to find some where! You might want to bring some gluten free snacks in your luggage!

Roys is really really good, and they can do almost any accomidation for you but make reservations early cause they fill up fast!

I was there before I was gluten-free. But, you could always go to the grocery store or the market and get fresh fruit and other stuff. I love Hawaii.

      When my wife attempted to open the online card in the store with a cashier, it would not work. We then showed the owner the link to the card, the online receipt that I got upon purchase, and even my bank statement confirming the purchase. That did not satisfy her, since she said she needed the link to open to reveal the gift ID num. They even admitted they had a systems problem around that time.

      We were flabergasted that the owner would not acknowledge a $50 e-gift card I purchased for my celiac wife. My wife tried to open it in the store and was informed there had been a system change and they could not find the record. No worries, she was told, just talk to management. Six months later, and numerous absurd back and forths, and the owner literally informs me there have been "bad actors", so she can't make good on this lost gift card. In other words, she accused me of lying and committing fraud... over $50! Please be careful with your orders and purchases here.
