Ok so went to opm yesterday for my brother and his wives aniversary....btw for those who dont now its an asian resturaunt owned by joeys.....the gluten free menu was like HUGE and it was SOOOOO good....and its ASIAN food....like thats one thing that i missed so much cause its so hard to talk to waitresses that dont know the language all that well about gluten (its usually in the soy sauce anyway) I could just hug the guy that owns the joeys chain...and left overs come in the cool like new york style chinese takeout boxes ( dont come accross those alot in alberta) lol

Thanks for posting. I was there about one year ago and they didn't have separate menu yet, but it was in the works. Glad to see I can go back now.

I ordered take-out from OPM last night off their gluten-free menu. They come in those cool asian boxes and they wrote gluten-free on each one so there was no confusion. It was awesome and they must know what they are doing because I didn't get sick. It was so cool because I ordered four gluten-free items so my husband and I could share. It was like the good old days of eating out. We even had enough leftover for lunch today, yummy. If anyone comes to Edmonton, you shoud go to OPM. It's not cheap, but you get a lot for your money and without any after effects.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
