:huh: I ate Barbara's Organic Brown rice cereal this morning and it says gluten free on the front of the box. However, I soon got scared when it said on the back that it is processed on machinery that may contain wheat. Now I am confused, do I eat something that says gluten free even if it is processed on the machinery?

I would be curious to hear everyones thoughts.

With items that are processed on machinery that also processes other gluten products there is always a risk of cc. Pretty much depends on how sensitive you are. I know some have said with different products that there were times they reacted and times they didn't.

Most stuff isn't run on dedicated lines though, just depends on whether you have other intolerances aside from gluten.

This is one of those things where everyone is a little different. About the only way to know if the product like this is going to be a problem for you is to try it (if you think there is a decent chance you'll do ok with it).

For me, I know that I would most likely react, so I wouldn't buy a product with that warning. Others can, and do perfectly fine.

Wish I could be more specific :)

      If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly...

      No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

      Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done...

      Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
