I am looking for a gluten-free version of Fruit Loops(or the like). Is there anything out there other than Fruity Pebbles?

We have had a request for that this morning...I thought someone "out here" might know!

Thanks....Dallas :D

Perky O's makes something sorta like it (but not exact so it may be a dissappointment) well, they are actually closer to Cheerio's but even so, not the same...

Open Original Shared Link

then there are Strawberry Amaranth O's... (also not exact and may be a dissapoint ment but maybe???)

Open Original Shared Link .com/Nu-World-Foods-Amara...y/dp/B0001MI874

but to answer your question more specifically, no I have not found a suitable replacement for Fruit Loops.

I don't know why that second link doesn't work... just google Amaranth O's and look for the strawberry ones...

Nini,

We tried the Glutino honey nut O's rather than the apple cinnamon ones and they were a huge disappointment. Have you ever tried this brand and if so how does it compare to Perky O's which will be my next try?

I didn't try the Glutino ones... however my daughter did and she didn't like them at all... she at least tolerates the Perky O's.

Despite being very diligent about eating gluten free, my recent bloodwork was bad.  So been on a mission to find the culprit(s).  During Covid my daughter found "certified gluten free" Yasso mint chocolate chip yogurt bars at Costco.  I was elated and have been eating them since.  When delving into possible culprits I discovered that the boxes with 12 bars at both Costco and BJ's no longer say "certified gluten free."  But the boxes with 4 bars at groceries and Target still say "certified gluten free."  Contacted the manufacturer and was told to go by what the box says.  So guess different machinery is used.  Was also told they were in the process of changing boxes.  Will be interesting to see...

Before I could call them (after all my research), Costco Pharmacy called and told me they found a generic gluten-free levothyroxine.  Was told name is Amneal brand.  Said they called and company  confirmed is gluten free.  Only one I had found was Lannett so did more research and found:  “BRIDGEWATER, N.J., Nov. 12, 2018.  Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: AMRX) today announced that it has completed a transition agreement with Lannett Company. Under the terms of the agreement, Amneal will take over the distribution and marketing of Levothyroxine sodium tablets from Lannett beginning December 1, 2018 through March 23, 2019, ahead of when the Company's...

Given your severe symptoms it sounds like you would be much better off going 100% gluten-free!

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. This has been the most difficult and confusing journey to date for me, and it has been going on since 2015/2016. The last dietitian I met with works with a lot of celiac patients, so I was excited, but she just thought I should be able to eat gluten free (whatever that may be) stay in a carb count and my diabetes would not be affected. WRONG. I have tried this several times since I crossed over to full blown diabetes, because I get so sick eating gluten that I end up getting frustrated and go back to gluten free to get some relief. I have a continuous glucose monitor so it is easy to see how my body and glucose are reacting to foods...
