Ricotta Cheese?

something made me really sick yesterday.

the only thing i can possibly think of was the ricotta cheese i put in lasagne.

i am two weeks gluten free and was starting to feel better, but all my symptoms are back now :(

what were the ingredients on the ricotta? I imagine there is a brand of low-fat or no-fat ricotta that may have modified food starch in the ingredients, but real ricotta should be nothing but milk and enzymes (and salt).

i threw the container away already

i have been trying soooooo hard...and now i'm so confused

i think i may go back to eating very basic food for awhile so this doesnt happen again

Ricotta is really a fairly basic food. The lesson here really is to never eat a food without checking on it by calling the company. Don't assume, especially when just starting out.

All that said, the ricotta probably was gluten-free. I have yet to find one that isn't.

the list by Celiac.org that I just recieved says that all FRIGO products are gluten free

      The solution I had to drink contained sorbitol and mannitol. I was in the MRI, lying on my back, for about 40 minutes. I was given glucagon partway through, and a gadolinium contrast agent. After I got home there was some diarrhea from the prep solution.
