I am extremely new to this and have been reading so much I would greatly appreciate a straight forward answer , I can use white sugar, splenda, sweet n low, all that right?? Im mainly just wondering for coffee.

Another thing, if I may post this here is do I honestly have to use a seperate toaster lol? Very sorry this is very shocking as a newly diagnosed, Im food shopping today gluten free for first time and just kind of overwhelmed.

Yes, sweeteners here in the US anyways, are gluten free. I use Splenda and Nutrataste or Equal.

As for the toaster, yes you do need your own or at least purchase a toast bag--check online for gluten free toaster bags. A tiny crumb from regular bread will make you very ill. Cross contamination is a very real problem for gluten free people. Use your own margarine too, if others tend to use butter and then get more--there will be crumbs in the butter too.

      Thoughts? Non-endoscopic Celiac diagnosis in two year old

      Okay that is really good to know. So with that being positive and the other being high it makes sense she diagnosed her even without the endoscopy. So glad we caught it early. She had so many symptoms though that to me it was clear something was wrong. yeah I think we had better test us and the other kids as well.

      @GlorietaKaro, your respiratory reactions to gluten make me wonder if there might also be an allergic (anaphylaxis) component at work here.

In the meantime, I will carry on has I have been— it’s working! Thanks also for the validation— sometimes I just feel crushed by disbelief. Not enough to make me eat gluten though—
