Made Myself Sick

HI everyone

I made myself so sick this weekened. Guess what I did? I left a molded lemon in my cabinet and was inhaling and eating the spores. Yes It's true. So I have had pop rock candy guts allll this time. I also feel sooo hungry even after i eat and I am losing weight drastically. 96 pounds has anyone been this thin before. I don't know what to do. Should I open the doors or keep them closed or what? Should I take a probiotic even if I have mercury and candida already. I don't know. Rachel what do you think is the best to do in this situation. I was wondering if I should take seacure to keep the weight on but you said it might not work. I am desperated. the dentist won't see me till the 15 of may. He will only work on one tooth at a time because of the immune system he said. If he does more my highly surpressed immune system will go down and the mercury will attack in full force. I am scared and worried. I feel sicker everyday and my bladder pain is worse. They have air filtration systems their also. The only dentist in fresno that has it. He knows what he is talking about. He gave me information on mercury and what it can do. 87% of people with multiple sclerosis got better or cured after the mercury was out.

he gave me a facts sheet I will type more stuff later. I also had to take a blood test to show what kind of composites that he can work with to put back in my mouth since some composites will be more toxic than mercury because of the mercury in my system. A special lab had to do a in vitro test with the blood the different materials and mercury to see the reaction. The dentist can't just put anything in my teeth or mouth because later on it can be more toxic and I would never get better. Just pray that I will make It through this. I will pray for you all to.

lisa

P.S.

I have 7 mercury fillings :(

Lisa, I'm sorry you are feeling bad.

I think your dentist is right in going slow with the amalgam removal since you are so sensitive. Anyone with mercury toxicity is going to have a candida problem because the body allows more candida to neutralize the mercury. I don't know that I'd mess with the candida until you are working on getting the mercury out.

I LOVE to air out my house. The first thing I do when it's nice outside is open the windows! I hate the dead of winter when the house is all closed up. The other option is an air cleaner.

I wouldn't think that one lemon would put that much mold into the air, but airing out the house is a good idea. I'd wash out where the lemon was, too.

I've heard about a lot of people around here being that thin before. Just keep eating right, and try to eat more often than you really want to. I found weight lifting to be a help because my body built up some muscle, but I'd avoid cardio right now if I were you.

Lisa,

Be really careful with mold. Hopefully you dont have any mold in your home....other than the lemon. I would definately air out the house but breathing the spores like you did could mess you up for awhile.

Also make sure you get rid of the lemon in an outside garbage.

I took the bloodtest to check for compatibility also. Its true that you could be sensitive to any materials they put in your mouth. Its a good idea to know whats safe so you dont end up with composites you're allergic to....which would make everything worse. It sounds like your dentist is really good. I'm gald you're in good hands.

I also like that hes only removing one filling at a time. As sick as you are right now...that is definately the best way to go about it. He doesnt want you to get too much exposure at one time. He's doing the best he can to not get you more sick during the process.

Hopefully he'll space out the removals so that your body has time to detox what it can in between...hopefully either your dentist or your Dr. will have you on detox supplements to help your body deal with any exposure you may have during the removal. It should be very minimal because he's got the right equipment...but still...you need all the protection you can get.

I wasnt sick at all before my amalgam removal. I didnt really want them taken out but one of them was broken and the dentist said the other one was deteriorating...so he needed to replace them. I didnt know anything about mercury at that time. He didnt use anything to protect me...just drilled them out.

Thats how I got sick...right after that I started getting all the symptoms and reacting to chemicals, foods, molds and everything else. It happened really fast...within weeks I was on disability. :(

Personally I would not take the SeaCure or the probiotics or anything else right now. SeaCure got me alot sicker. I lost all kinds of weight and couldnt gain anything back. I was at 94 lbs. and I didnt start gaining until I stopped the supplements...all of them....even the probiotics.

Once I stopped taking supplements I gained more than 10 lbs. and my weight has been stable ever since. Its been about a year now....my weights been stable at 110. I cant gain anything more but at least I'm not losing.

My body cant process alot of this stuff so even if its "suppossed" to be good...its not necessarily good for ME. Some of it can be quite bad or even toxic because it doesnt get utilized the way it should or the immune system is reactive to it.

I would stop taking supplements and see how you feel after a few weeks. If you want you can always try them again...one at a time though...so you can see if you develop problems or additional symptoms.

I know SeaCuRE affected me in a bad way. I wouldnt take it...after all its FISH. :o

It might contain mercury...I dont know but I did get ALOT worse taking the SeaCure. <_<

I have it all written in my journals I was keeping back then....It was definately SeaCure making me sicker. I didnt ever think about the fact that it could contain mercury until you mentioned it a couple weeks ago...I think you're probably right about that!! It could definately explain why I was getting so much worse!!

I hope you feel better soon.

P.S.

I also responded to your post in the OMG thread. :)

Dear Lisa,

I was once down to 84 pounds! I was very ill. I still am, but now I am holding my weight (a bit too well, actually!) I could stand to lose a few now. Mold is difficult to avoid. It seems to be everywhere! Make sure you do not have it in your fridge. Spoiled food can trigger reactions even when you do not eat it! Keep your produce in the fridge. Really, when you have Candida, you are to not eat vinegar, leftovers (food 24 hours or more old), alcohol, fermented foods, fruit, refined carbohydrates, dairy or sugar. Yeast is also out in any form. I definitely feel worse on days it rains. It has been raining for three days now. Sunday we should finally get some sun again. Holding your weight is difficult at times. Candida can make you too thin or too fat.

Sincerely,

NoGluGirl

If lectins were my problem, I would react to wheat germ (the highest source of wheat lectins) and beans. I don't. I only react to bread and pasta, which are the highest sources of gluten. Therefore, my issue is wheat-specific (Gluten/ATIs), not a general lectin issue.   I have eaten a supposedly high lectin diet (I say supposedly because lectin content in these foods is greatly reduced by proper cooking and I eat very few of those foods raw, and even then, rarely!!) for years. My health has improved greatly on my whole foods plant forward diet. I have asked all my drs and a registered dietician about my diet, asked if eating such a high amnt of fiber might interfere with the digestion of any other nutrients and the answer has always been NO.     while doing the gluten challenge I did not eat ANY wheat germ (since it doesn't have hardly any gluten, and I was too sick from the bread and pasta to want to eat much anyway) I will NOT put that poison in my body again. That was a horrific experience and if this is what most celiac patients have to deal with, I am very sorry for them I don't care if I have celiac or NCGS I won't intentionally cause myself that much pain and suffering it's not worth it.

@catnapt,  Wheat germ contains high amounts of lectins which are really hard to digest and can be irritating to the digestive tract.  They can stimulate IgG antibody production as your blood test shows.   Even beans have lectins.  You've simply eaten too many lectins and irritated your digestive tract.   You may want to allow your digestive tract to rest for a week, then start on gluten in "normal" food, not in concentrated vital wheat gluten. This explains it well: Lectins, agglutinins, and their roles in autoimmune reactivities https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25599185/

I take Now B-1 (100 mg) Thiamine Hydrochloride, and Amazing Formulas L-Tryptophan (1000 mg).   Both are gluten free and free of other allergens.  I've taken them for a long time and haven't had a problem with them. I take Vitamin A from BioTech called "A-25".  It's gluten and allergen free and made in the USA.  It's a powder form of Vitamin A.  I was having trouble digesting fats at one point, but found I tolerated the powder form much better and have stuck with it since.   Tryptophan and Vitamin A help heal the intestines as well as improves skin health.  I get Dermatitis Herpetiformis and eczema flairs when my stomach is upset.  So I'm healing the outside as well as the inside.   I take one 1000 mg Tryptophan before bedtime.   With the Thiamine HCl, take 100 mg to start.  If you don't notice anything, three hours later take another. You can keep increasing your dose in this manner until you do notice improvement.  Remember not to take it in the evening so it won't keep you too energized to sleep. When I first started Thiamine HCl, taking 500 mg to 1000 mg to start was recommended.  If you've been thiamine insufficient for a while, you do notice a big difference.  It's like the start of a NASCAR race: Zoom, Zoom, turn it up!   This scared or made some people uncomfortable, but it's just your body beginning to function properly, like putting new spark plugs in your engine.  I took 1000 mg all at once without food.  It kicked in beautifully, but I got a tummy ache, so take with food.  I added in Thiamine TTFD and Benfotiamine weeks later and felt like I was Formula One racing.  So cool.  You may feel worse for a couple days as your body adjusts to having sufficient thiamine.  Feels sort of like you haven't cranked your engine for a while and it backfires and sputters, but it will settle down and start purring soon enough.  Adjust your dose to what feels right for you, increasing your dose as long as you feel improvement.  You can reach a plateau, so stay there for several days, then try bumping it up again.  If no more improvements happen, you can stay at the plateau amount and experiment with increasing your Thiamine TTFD.  It's like being your own lab rat.  LoL Yes, take one Benfotiamine at breakfast and one at lunch.  Take the B Complex at breakfast. Take the TTFD at breakfast and lunch as well.  I like to take the vitamins at the beginning of meals and the NeuroMag at the end of meals.   You may want to add in some zinc.  I take Thorne Zinc 30 mg at breakfast at the beginning of the meal.   Are you getting sufficient Omega Threes?  Our brains are made up mostly of fat.  Flaxseed oil supplements, sunflower seed oil supplements (or eat the seeds themselves) can improve that.  Cooking with extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, or coconut oil is also helpful.   @Wheatwacked likes phosphotidyl choline supplements for his Omega Threes.  He's also had dramatic health improvement by supplementing thiamine.  You're doing great!  Thank you for sharing your journey with us.  This path will smooth out.  Keep going!

good luck! vital wheat gluten made me violently ill. I will touch the stuff ever again.
    • catnapt
I wouldn't consider this lucky. I can NOT tolerate the symptoms. And I googled it and I was not even getting 10 grams of gluten per day and I was extremely ill. They'd have to put me in the hospital. I'm not kidding.   I will have my first appt with a GI dr on March 4th   I will not eat gluten again - at least not on purpose   they are going to have to come up with a test that doesn't require it.
