We're thinking of going to Cedar Point and I was wondering if anyone here has gone there with a celiac child. I usually carry snacks with me anyway for her but for a whole day there it would be nice if she could eat something at the park. Does anyone know for a fact that there are some good gluten-free options in the park itself? Thanks for any help available. I know it's a long shot but it doesn't hurt to ask.......

I went to CP last year for the first time since going gluten-free and brought all my own food. I really don't think you'll find much, if anything, to eat that's gluten-free. Maybe at some of the sit-down restaurants you can find something but my kids didn't want to take that amount of time away from the rides.

Enjoy......It's the best roller coaster park in the world!!!!!

Went last summer with my family and took a picnic lunch. That wasn't new to anyone because as a cost saver we have always done that. Then everyone can have one park treat. Mine was French Fries! They were on the main drag, right after you come into the park. That is all they make there and they are not seasoned! Just plain old fries. Mmmm, nothing better than when someone else makes your fries! There are some premade frozen treats also. Like the chocolate covered frozen bannana.

Good luck. Hope you find good safe food.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
