Clinique Lipsticks - Product Information

I recently emailed Clinique from their website about whether or not my lipsticks are gluten free and they responded in the same day. They wouldn't give me a full product listing, but they did tell me what was in the specific products I asked about. For anyone who uses the same colors, this was their response:

Long Last Lipstick - Bamboo Pink contains triticum vulgare (wheat bran) extract and lecithin (soy)

Color Surge Butter Shine Lipstick - Perfect Plum contains soy and corn derivatives

Glosswear for Lips - Tender Heart may contain soy

Clinique has ingredients lists in a book at their counter as well. The book is sorted by ingredient...ie, any product containing triticum vulgare (wheat bran) would be listed under that heading. I found the book to be a good reference for checking to see if my favourite Clinique products had any of the things I'm allergic to.

It's wonderful to hear that they have books at the counters. I was worried about going to the store and having to pick a product, then go home and email Clinique and then go back to the store to buy it. That's a relief!
