We are having an celebration in town this weekend with live music and food booths and games and everything. Does anyone knwo what stuff would be safe.

I know the indian tacos are out

turkey legs ( i dont know)

snow cones (no idea)

lemonade (no idea)

im sure maybe someone will have hamburger fry and i know to check to see if they put the buns on the grill, but is there anything else i have to look for

I want my son and I to have a great time, and not just sit and watch everyone eat and drink.

i guess if it comes down to it we can have cotton candy, that is safe right lol.

I know many of u are thinking just ask the vendors, but this town doesnt know much about celiac. lol

I am going to be so sad to walk by the beer garden and not have an drink, unless bud will have redbridge there, but i doubt it since u cant have glass in the park.

At least i will see my roomate from college, she is in the band that is playing an concert tonight. I cant wait to see her, i just wish i could have an drink with her lol.

I'm unable to trust anything as the consequences are too great. I'd bring my own stuff in a backpack.

Heheh maybe even some redbridge transferred to a . . . .hmmm maybe iced tea labeled bottle?

You just never know when a turkey leg marinade/baste secret ingredient's extra ingredient is soy sauce.

lmao i was trying to figure out how to take the redbridge also. That is one reason i was wondering about the lemoanade, i was thinking maybe adding sum rum or something to it lol. I have 2 hours to figure this out lol

One of those travel coffee mug things works well for alcoholic beverages. If it has an airtight seal though it likely won't work for beer or any other carbonated beverage. Green tea bottles work for beer, it's about the same color. :)

I wouldn't trust fair food unless they have a fry stand that only sells french fries. Even then, be sure to read the ingredients carefully for both the fries and the oil (just in case the oil is seasoned, unlikely, but possible).

It sounds like you have a very reasonable GI doctor, who diagnosed you based on family history and symptoms after eating gluten. I would consider you lucky! The other option would be to make yourself very sick by doing weeks of a gluten challenge prior to an endoscopy.

Hi Colleen H,   I suffered with the pins and needles/burning feeling in my legs and feet for at least  6 years until my Nephrologist figured out that I had to go on a low salt diet.  He said my kidneys weren't strong enough to remove the salt.  The simple fix was a diuretic, but that med leaves the uric acid behind, so that wasn't an option.  On the bright side the low salt diet lowered my BP over 20 points and and the pins and needles/burning feeling went away.  Good Luck and hope this helps.

Yes this is very frustrating for me ... not sure what to think.  Feels like I'm having reactions to a lot of things  Now applesauce?? I don't understand 😞

I did ... But aren't we going to be vitamin deficienct if we are not eating due to being sick ?? If the food we eat is gluten free and we have other sensitivities , how do we get out of the cycle??  Thank you

Anyone else get pins and needles. ??? Burning feeling ? Heat makes it so much worse 😔  Winter is here.  I had to lower my thermostat because I couldn't take that hot air feeling 😔  Hopefully it goes away soon
