Hey all. Its been a while! HA! Anywho, I was wondering if any of you could tell me some of the names of the ingrediants that are in lotions, shampoos, body washes, etc that have wheat in them. I had a list and lost it. And now Victoria's Secret is having a sale on body products and I want to go nuts but can't remember the names of the ingrediants that are in them to make them unusable by us, good ol' celiac folks. I appreciate any information that you could send my way! Thanks all.

sarah.

The technical name for wheat is triticum valgure. I see that a lot in natural products.

vegetable protein or hydro. veg protein is usually gluten too! Wheat germ oil, extract, and starch sometimes are listed too. I am thinking "spent grain" might be wheat gluten too.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
