Fire Logs?

Do Duraflame type fire logs contain gluten? I can't call them until Monday to ask. I know some charcoals do but I let Tori roast marshmellos over one of those synthetic fire logs and now she is acting funny. She is not throwing up like a full fledged glutening but she is sad and crying for no reason and just went to sleep much earlier than she normally does.

Thanks.

I was just looking this up in search to find out for myself about gluten and i know this is 4 years late but you are NOT suppose to roast anything over a duraflame. They tell you that.

Wow. Those logs are full of all sorts of nasty chemicals. I think gluten would be the least of your problems. If she doesn't improve you may need to take her to the doctor or ER. She may have heavy metal poisoning. There may be benzene, which causes leukemia. I don't want to scare you, but seriously, I think she should see a doctor.

FYI Folks! Wendy is responding to a thread from 2008. If that kid is still sick from the logs......

I just posted it just in case they ever come back. I hope their kid was ok :(

Thanks rmj when I first rang up it was we can't do it without , but I talked to a lovely lady and she sorted it all out for me, so it pays to be persistent , I would have had to decline if I hadn't been given the water option too , so yes I'm glad too 😌

I’m so glad they listened to your concerns!  I hope you get some answers from the MRI.

Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
