Maida flour, used in the pastry on samosas is very highly refined, low gluten and often contains part tapoica starch. So its really not the thing to choose for an allergy challenge....

jealous though I am

no, this doesn't necessarily mean anything. when I was challenging gluten originally, I would only be able to go a few days at a time before I'd cave and eat gluten- with little to no reaction- which just confused me more. But once I let myself heal, I now get a big reaction with a teensy bit. So it's a matter of letting the reaction clear up (for at least a few weeks) before challenging, and maybe with a food other than samoas.

You mean Samoas (Girl Scout cookie time!), right? :D Those definitely contain gluten.

(slaps self in head) I thought she was eating those tasty fried potato stuffed savory indian pastries. Of course, I've never even seen a girl scout cookie (which may be a good thing :P )

The solution I had to drink contained sorbitol and mannitol. I was in the MRI, lying on my back, for about 40 minutes. I was given glucagon partway through, and a gadolinium contrast agent. After I got home there was some diarrhea from the prep solution.
