I found a Pamela's cake mix and it was YUMMY. So I purchased the baking flour mix and made some crepes. Thicker but YUMMY. So I decided to make a Rasin Brandy Almond cake. It was also very YUMMY, but yesterday I started with the brain not connectd to the head, Eyeballs feel wobbly, I paniced when I couldn't find my son and hubby at Sam's, my mood spiraled down. I felt like I was beat up. I checked everything from the night before and blamed my hubby for glutening me. Then today I looked up the Brandy and found this in an old post

Here's what the Gallo people say about their other products:

Under our Bartles & Jaymes product line we produce two kinds of coolers; a wine-base and a malt-base as indicated by the label. The wine cooler is gluten free. Under the Boone's and Boone's Farm line we produce both wine-base and malt-base products. The wine base is gluten-free. In addition, our winemakers advise that our cider beverages under the "Hornsby's" label do contain gluten. Also, our winemakers advise the brandy made by E&J Distillers, including Cask & Cream, may contain trace amounts of gluten.

Attack of the unknow. Now for another 2 miserable weeks. I can't seem to go 2 days feeling good. :angry: I just want to cry over all this stupid stuff.

Some of your old baking supplies/equipment/ingredients may be contaminated. Any old pans with seams in them where bits of cake can settle and not come out are best not used. The seamless ones are fine but it may not be advisable to use the old non-stick ones. The old hand-held mixer may have flour in the vents that you may not be able to remove. Best to get a new one if this is the case. Your stand mixer is most likely fine if given a good cleaning. It is usually advised not to use old wooden spoons. I was an avid baker before this and was in the habbit of using measuring spoons to measure multiple ingredients in a recipe before wasing them so I found that some of my baking spices were contaminated with wheat flour and started over with new jars of spices and baking powder, baking soda etc.

Hang in there. It is a learning process and frustrating at times but it will get better.

      You might try Heallix.  It's a silver solution with fulvic acid. I just put the solution on with a cotton ball.  It seemed to stop the nerve pain. Again,  not in your eyes or ears.   Go to heallix.com to read more about it and decide for yourself Also,  I do think nerve and celiac combined have a lot to do with your susceptibility to shingles breaking out.

      Celiac disease requires both genetic potential and a triggering stress event to activate the genes. Otherwise it remains dormant and only a potential problem. So having the genetic potential is not deterministic for celiac disease. Many more people have the genes than actually develop the disease. But if you don't have the genes, the symptoms are likely being caused by something else.

      Yes, i pulled raw ancetry data and saw i have 2/3 markers for DQ2.2 but have heard from friends in genetics that this raw data can be wildly innacurate

      Thanks, I’m still dealing with the pain and tingling and itching and feeling like bugs or something crawling around on my face and scalp. It’s been a miserable experience. I saw my eye doc last week, the eye itself was okay, so they didn’t do anything. I did take a 7 day course of an antiviral. I’m hoping for a turnaround soon! My life is full of stress but I have been on / off the gluten free diet for the last year , after being talked into going back on gluten to have a biopsy, that looked okay. But I do have positive antibody levels that have been responsive  to a gluten free diet. I can’t help but wonder if the last year has caused all this.

      I don't think any apps are up to date, which is exactly why this happened to you. Most of the data in such apps is years old, and it doesn't get updated in real time. Ultimately there is no substitution for learning to read labels. The following two lists are very helpful for anyone who is gluten sensitive and needs to avoid gluten when shopping. It's very important to learn to read labels and understand sources of hidden gluten, and to know some general information about product labelling--for example in the USA if wheat is a possible allergen it must be declared on a product's ingredient label like this: Allergens: Wheat.
