Does anyone have a recipe for a blueberry bundt cake. I promised my husband I would try to fine one.

He has celiac disease, not me, I'm trying to find some cakes to make for him.

:) Thanks

You can go to recipezaar.com and then google in gluten free cakes. They list lots. These are not bundt cakes but I have tried #174346 Apple Cake and #209764 One Bowl Chocolate Cake. Both are wonderful and easy. I also tried #174106 Shortcakes. Its great too. You could put blueberries and whipped cream on top instead of strawberries.

Michael Eberhart's "Gluten-Free and Wheat-Free Gourmet Desserts has a lemon-blueberry bundt cake recipe on page 28 that is to die for. It uses sour cream, and I'm lactose intolerant, so have not been able to critique this recipe.

The recipes that I have used from this cookbook have been excellent.

Delivery on an order from him is very fast.

Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute. If you are interested in summaries of scientific publications on the topic of oats and celiac disease, we have an entire category dedicated to it which is here: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/oats-and-celiac-disease-are-they-gluten-free/
