Anyone Get Sick A Lot Even After Going gluten-free?

I have been gluten-free for a year and a half, but everytime I catch something, I get it worse than anyone else. Recently, I have had unexplained fatigue for over a month and low-grade fevers for two weeks. I only have the fevers in afternoon and early evening. Anyone with similar experiences?

It reminds me of when I had lymes disease and later Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. It also could be some other kind of parasite or microbe or a bacterial infection... You should get it checked out. Unfortunately if its either lymes or spotted fever you need to take massive doses of antibiotics, or go to Europe and get a Pap Imi Machine treatments (which is what cured my Lymes by the way after 10 treatments--here in California before the doc. had to quit using this magnificent energy medicine machine due to the Feds even though the guy who invented it was a phd physicist from UC in LA).

The spotted fever I got rid of after two massive doses of cephalexen. It was hard to get Kaiser to look at what was wrong with me however. I figured I had some kind of bacterial infection and got the antibiotics from a dentist since I wanted him to remove a tooth I thought was deeply infected. It was only afterwards I learned about the spotted fever symptoms which I had had.

I also suggest you avoid all trace glutens in case you aren't. This also could wreak havoc on your system. By going off everything including lotions and soaps with vitamin E in them I no longer get ill all the time like I used to. Using fibronylitic agents such as nattokinase and bromelain/papain on an empty stomach each day has really helped to also heal my villi--since I have had celiac as it turns out since I was a very young infant first introduced to gluten grains and then reintroduced to them at age four. In addition I take co-enzyme B vitamins since otherwise I don't absorb B-1. This caused neurological degradation of the myelin sheath (it was at 50%), weakened heart, aching legs and feet, poor memory etc. Taking the co-enzyme B's changed that around pronto since then the B vitamins go directly into the blood stream bypassing the need for the liver to action them etc. Without B-1 I in effect had Beri Beri since I could not tolerate eating most protein or carbohydrates without taxing my liver etc. etc. This in itself can cause fevers if bad enough. Hope you get the connection, my body certainly did.

Good luck!

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
