Washington Mutual is a big bank in WA state. Or maybe I should say was, as of this morning. A short time ago this message was posted on our local freecycle board:

OFFER:Paper

Stock certificates from former regional banking powerhouse. Several

boxes, good for wall paper, wrapping paper, or kindling.

That small statement just sort of ripped my heart out. Don't know if it has the same affect on others.

Being a WAMU account holder, I read with interest the article on the front page of this morning's paper. I knew that shares of WAMU stock had fallen (tanked, actually) from many dollars per share to a few pennies per share, but nevertheless was shocked to read the statement, "Shareholders and some bondholders will be wiped out . . . " :o:o

Wiped out ? For some reason I had (obviously erroneously) assumed (yes I know what that means  ) that stocks would transfer over to JPMorgan Chase.

It really is sad for the small stockholder who was hoping things would turn around. :(

WAMU has moved onto Long Island too. They are everywhere now here. On the news this morning, they told us that as far as the everyday customer is concerned, they will not even notice a change in WAMU.

I think that's an important point to keep in mind. The average person is unaffected by the collapse.

For now.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.

To evaluate the TTG antibody result we’d need to know the normal range for that lab.  Labs don’t all use the same units.  However, based on any normal ranges that I’ve seen and the listed result being greater than a number rather than a specific number, I’d say yes, that is high! Higher than the range where the test can give a quantitative result. You got good advice not to change your diet yet.  If you went gluten free your intestines would start to heal, confusing any further testing,
