Emergen-c All Flavors gluten-free

Hi All!

I Just called the emergen-c company to see if their new lemonaide flavor was gluten-free. I had seen on this site before that only the orange flavor was gluten-free, but I just talked to their customer services and she said that they are ALL flavors are gluten free "containing no wheat, rye, barley or oats".

This is correct. I had not seen this post when I just happened to call them today. I called because last year their raspberry flavor said "contains: Wheat" on the ingredient lable.

I was told they thought at that time one of the ingredients was wheat-derived and therefore were required to post it on the ingredient information. They found out they were wrong. Since then, they have conducted a study, researched their suppliers, and confirmed their entire line is gluten-free. In addition they brought in scientists to do gluten testing. There is no chance of cross-contamination and they can say with 100% certainty all their flavors and products are safe.

Their website now states all Emergen-C are gluten-free under their FAQ's section.

Oh that news could not have come sooner - the recent cold(er) weather in the midwest seems to have gotten everyone at work sick.

I just called about Emergen-C Super Orange and learned the same as above, indeed gluten-free.

I learned also that my Super Orange is casein-free and soy-free as well, for those also working on CF and SF.

She did say that some of their products might contain a little soy and that it should say on the packaging if so.
