Trouble At Boston Market

I eat at Boston Market a lot when I traval. I almost walked out of one today after I was asked 6 times if I wanted something with gluten in it. This was after I told the server I was gluten intolerant and could not eat any wheat at all, I also had the allergy guide handout in my hand and was looking at it. He asked me three times If I wanted a roll, He even urged me just to take it and brake it up for the birds.

Part of it was my fault becase I had not eaten in 17 hours so just wanted him to hand me my darn food so I could eat.

I was starting to feel that I would have to take something with gluten in it just to get my food.

I feel part of the problem is the training they have at Boston market. I am almost always asked at least three times if I want something with Gluten in it. If you have had similar experiences please call their headquarters and let them know. If someone states they have an allergy to a food they should not have that food pushed on them. I feel bad for being so bugged by this I know they need to make money also and I have worked in two fast food company's but I as a consumer should not be harassed.

I called headquarters they said a Gm should call me back in a few days.

Wow...what a bad experience!! I definitely would have walked out, or just disposed of the bread right in front of their eyes so they got the point! Definitely a good call on your part calling the headquarters. I'm going out this Friday and there's a Boston Market right down the street from where I'm going to be -- now I'm curious to see if I'll have a similar experience...

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
