Cleansing Products That Are Messing Me Up

Hi everyone

I am not too happy lately :( I started see an MD that also practices holistic.I went to him to find out what else may be wrong with me since I have soent the last 28 years not well.I am 31 now and I have always felt unwell......now these days it gets to me more and is MUCH worse.I am DESPERATE for help so thats why I take money I dont really have to pay this guy to fix me or try to tell me whats up.

He gave me stuff to take to detoc/cleanse the GI tract/intestinal tract. That made sense to me.

However what is not making sense now is that 2 DIFFERENT cleansing products make me fell ill when taking them. The biggest baddest of them all is the severe constipation.I drink water with it and I bought some magnesium citrate today and upped my essential oils. One product the main ingredient is psylliium husk the other is brown rice and other things.I tried one 1 week then this happened so I tried the other one.....and it happened.I know you can get a headache and feel crappy from and detox (right away) but I feel this constipation issue all of a sudden is not normal. Can anyone help me and tell me if they have heard of this type of reaction. Its almost as if my body dont want any cleanse its acting and feeling harmful.

Any help would be appreciated because I am not sure if this Dr is right.I wonder if these are signs of allergy to the stuff????//

My personal thoughts would be that a cleans, on an already compromised digestive system, might not be a good idea. :)

You mentioned that you recently found out you have a gluten intolerance. How's that going?

I would go gentle on yourself until you can heal.

I was taking medicine for sibo but it was not agreeing with my stomach at all.Was on gabapentin but it amps me up.I was taking in morning because it wasn't allowing me to sleep. This has always been an issue with medicine and me.Even going to dentist, the good shot that numbs you once, I can't take because it makes my heart beat fast and I  get the shakes.I have to take the crappy stuff and get injected always more than 4 times always. Its infuriating

I showed one doctor I went to once because completely clueless of celiac disease and yes that one was connected to a well known hospital and she said oh thats just a bunch of people that think they are celiac coming together. I said um no they have doctors and knowledge behind what is being written. So bay area is Downplaying this site! SADLY

If you successfully digest gluten with enzyme supplements so it won’t give you side effects, your challenge won’t be worthwhile because the digested fragments of gluten also won’t stimulate antibody production or cause intestinal damage.

You can search this site for prescriptions medications, but will need to know the manufacturer/maker if there is more than one, especially if you use a generic version of the medication: To see the ingredients you will need to click on the correct version of the medication and maker in the results, then scroll down to "Ingredients and Appearance" and click it, and then look at "Inactive Ingredients," as any gluten ingredients would likely appear there, rather than in the Active Ingredients area. https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/
