7 Weeks Gluten Free

I have been gluten-free for 7 weeks now, I was really expecting to feel great, but I am not, still got quite bad anxiety and occasional bloating I am been so very careful not to contaminate and not eating out yet so I don't think I have accidentally eaten any gluten.

I get worried it could be something more which makes my anxiety worse and I its hard with celiac disease to know if your body is recovering or not, no simple test to take. Maybe I am just expecting too much too soon.

One to positive side, I have not had a really bad headache since going gluten-free. My stomach is not as bloated, but does occasionally bloat, I am trying to cut dairy out and see if that makes a difference.

I also have skipped my last two periods and definately not pregnant. Doc said it was nothing to be concerned about.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Hang in there. It takes a while for your body to adjust. You didn't develope celiac in a day, week or month & I wouldn't expect instant relief. For a few they get instant relief but it can take up to a year or even two to notice a big change... Every body is different...

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
