We're very new to gluten-free. My mom made a delicious pineapple-upside down cake with the Betty Crocker cake mix. Unfortunately, it has potato starch and my husband is allergic to it. Do you know of any cake mixes without potato starch? Thank you!

Try Open Original Shared Link. Their mixes are gluten and potato free. The first cake I tried after going gluten-free was Namaste and it was very good. I would definitely buy it again, but I bought it at Whole Foods and the location near me went out of business. I imagine it's available at most specialty and online stores.

I'm like your husband, and have just found the Namaste mixes. I bought the brownie mix today. Tried their regular bread mix and was not overly impressed. Have found them at Whole Food and at a health food store that has a marvelous gluten free selection of stuff.

The spice cake mix makes a great carrot cake.

If you are up to making one yourself, this is the first recipe that I tried and I thought it turned out well.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
