A few wks ago, I had to do a project for my world geography class on Ireland. I also had to bake a traditional food from there. I made Strawberry Bread, but of course adapted the recipe so that it was gluten-free. It turned out SOOOO DELICIOUS! and everyone in class loved it, even though it was gluten-free. they said it all tasted great. My teacher then went on to explain what gluten-free was, for those who I hadn't already told, and said she had tried some gluten-free food before, and it was gross, so that it took a really good chef to adapt a recipe and have it still taste great. I don't fully believe it, but hey! A compliment is a compliment! hehe! Anyways, here's the recipe, it's easy, and yumm! Hope everyone enjoys it!

Hello Miss 91,

thank you for sharing the recipe with us! It looks like it would make a really nice dessert. Our strawberry patch is decked-out with blooms and having a new recipe is a plus! I agree with your teacher; converting recipes, particularly baking recipes, AND especially gluten-free baking recipes can be a tricky business. You MUST be a good cook!

Well, I'm going to make strawberry bread as soon as we have a harvest.

Paula :)

P.S. I hope you got an "A" on your assignment!

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
