My dog has many symptoms of pink eye. Is there a home remedy for dogs? We live an hour from town and the vet only comes to our town a couple of days per week. I have dealt with it with people years ago but what can I do for a dog?? Thanks bunches!!

I would strongly encourage you not to "self-diagnose" your dog - dogs can have issues that look like pink eye but are caused by different things, quite often something very small in they eye (particularly caught under the third eyelid). Call the vet, and leave a description. You may find that you need to make the hour long drive, but perhaps they can help over the phone as well.

Hey purple, I hope it is just pink-eye but like Tiffany said, talk to your vet. I thought my dog had pink-eye. Actually, the vet initially thought so too, but as soon as the antibiotics were done, it came right back. It ended up she has glaucoma. Good Luck!

Thanks for your replies! She could barely see for 3 days. I prayed over her and the next day she was better. Then the next day back to normal...Praise the Lord! :D

      Thanks for your input.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
